Lauren's Card Creation!!

One of my good friends and fellow SU! Wild Wasabi addict has a gorgeoues daughter called Lauren who made me this card using Purely Pomergranite ink and Garden Whimsy Stamp Set. I keep it right where I create my cards and it makes me smile every time I look at it! Thanks Lauren!!!

Halloween Decorations

Really easy Halloween decorations I made to use at work for our staff dress down day. The Lantern could be changed to be a Christmas one as well!

Xmas Cards!!

I have made a start to my christmas cards! My personal ones and the ideas for upcoming workshops and stamp-a-stacks.

Here are I few I did at my upline Vicki's Stamp-a-stack the other night. (I had gone a whole week with out stanping as the inlaws were done for a wedding so the withdrawals were kicking in!)

Nearly a month!!!!

It's nearly been a month since my last post. So sorry all! between each of us getting sick individually time seems to have flown.

A big thank you to everyone who contacted me inthe weeks prior to school hols to make sure I was all prepared for H this time round (see very first post). All seems to be going well. And he put his head under the water at swimming. Very proud mummy!

In the mean time I did get some cards made for a variety of different things happening in our lives.

Fathers day for craig's dad.

A BIG thank you card for mum for looking after the boys.

The Red one is for a wedding and the Pink one for a new baby girl.

I use the Colour wheel alot to try and get out of using the same colours all the time.

Sorry for the lack foe posts lately. Life is hectic . . . and I can't find the cord for the camera! We have finished my craft room though which I just love. thanks to the hubby and Ikea. I am hoping to do a video of it soon so I can get started doing short tutorials etc.

First attempt at a Kwerner design challenge . . .

I learnt a lot of things from making this card which I will tell you all about tomorrow. (Inc craft ink doesn't dry - ever!! :) I'm going to bed.

First day of school hols blues . . .

Why oh why didn't I think of it???

My eldest son has mild autism and alot of children with this love structure and routine. We have a large white board with his week on it and picture magnets (he's 4 1/2) with all the things we do. Seeing nanny, swimming, visting friends etc. So he can see at anyone time what is happening and what will be happeneing. Since beginning of the year he has attended an ECDU unit ( aka school)two days a week. Last school hols we were away and had planned and prepared him for a long time. Today - I didn't even think about it and we had a melt down. He wanted to go to 'school' and just didn't understand why I wasn't going to take him and why he couldn't go. He had his ECDU shirt on and everything. It has been a day of melt downs, crying and a lot of distractions and semi-bribes. I am now officially kicking myself and we have definately learnt our lesson.

Baby Book

This is an advice book I made for some friends before they had their baby. Pretty easy to do. the majority of rub ons and colours came from The Scrap Heap (see link on right). I loved doing and everyone had a great time thinking of all sorts of things to write to them.
